FitRight Athletics is a youth and adult sports performance gym in Ammon, Idaho, open since 2018. The heart of what we do is athletic development for athletes ages 9 through college: speed, strength, jumping, and force production, coached in small groups and measured on a structured testing battery so every family can see exactly what changed. Thousands of athletes have trained here, and over 150 of them have gone on to play college sports.
Head coach and founder Seth Mortensen spent three seasons with the Seattle Mariners organization as a Performance Enhancement Specialist, holds a master's in kinesiology and biomechanics and the CSCS credential, and has coached for more than twenty years. He credits the coaches who shaped him, and he programs the way they taught him to: mechanism first, with sprint mechanics as the specialty. Carrie Mortensen co-owns and co-runs FitRight, from the books to the coaching floor to the community around the gym, and she can still do every workout our top athletes do.
Every athlete here gets a FitRight Athlete Card: real numbers from day one, a program written from those numbers, and a retest so the next block is built on what actually moved. If you have an athlete in middle school or high school, start with Youth Performance Training and book an assessment.
